Turf Blend Premium Soils: This finely screened superior free-draining organic blend was designed to create a turf soil that is easy to work with in all weather and environmental conditions, free of any large fibrous material so that raking out this soil is a breeze, rain or shine, to maximize productivity of of working crews. A typical lab test of this fertile product shows a pH of 6.7-7.5, a sand content of 85-90%, fines of 4-6% and organic matter 4-6%. Low compaction. Minimal need for harsh chemical fertilization.
Garden Mix Soil: A dark, consistent, quality blend of screened recycled organic compost and river sand, designed around the BC Landscape Standard with the west coast climate and vegetation in mind. This topsoil has an excellent wet weather workability, perfect for projects where a free draining material is critical. A typical lab test of this planting bed media shows a pH ranging from 6.5-7.5, fines less that 7%, sand content of 78-82%, and nutrient rich organic matter ranging from 12-16%. This versatile planting bed soil is great for most planter and garden landscaping applications.
Rainforest Premium Soil: This special topsoil has been designed specifically for our native BC plant material. It is ideal for high profile projects or gardens. It features a uniquely low pH and free draining low fines structure, yet retains moisture to conserve watering. It is a very lightweight, with composition similar to our regular Planter Blend but with the addiction of high quality specially imported dark Peat.
Enviro Mulch Amender: This is a very dark, nutrient rich compost used as a weed suppressing Top Dressing Mulch, or as an Amendment to existing depleted soils. Made with recycled composted organics and compost manures with a rich brown-black appearance that will improve water retention and boost available nutrients.
Mushroom Manure: This well composted, dark Mushroom Manure is a great value alternative annual addition for flower beds and vegetable gardens needing increased nutrients to help boost plant propagation and growth. High-heat composting process minimizes the smell and potential weeds.
